This MOU will further expand and deepen such research cooperation as well as broaden the scope of human resource exchange, including international students.
Prof. Shigehara expressed, “With the conclusion of this MOU, we would like to make effective use of the human and material resources of both universities and aim to strengthen cooperation through joint research and also hope that this will lead to the development of mutual exchange at the private-sector and citizen levels between the Tokyo metropolitan area, including Saitama Prefecture, and Da Nang City, a major tourism and business city in the country of Vietnam”.
Consul General Yakabe said, “On behalf of the Japanese government, I sincerely welcome the conclusion of the MOU between the two universities. In the central region of Vietnam, the securing highly skilled human resources is essential in high demand for Japanese companies.
