About Summer Program

Saitama University will offer a four-week short-term program in June and July 2023.

This 4-week intensive Japanese Studies Program provides international students who have an interest in Japanese culture a good opportunity to study various　aspects of Japan — traditional, modern and contemporary. You will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of weekday academic courses, as well  as well as weekend excursions in and around the Saitama/Tokyo area.
All classes will be conducted in English and an introductory Japanese language class will also be available for those who wish to start learning this interesting and unique language.

While the program has been held online since FY2020, the in-person summer program will return in 2023.
